La Maison Sidonie Champagne
Created in 2012 by Sidonie Champagne (dept 85, in Benet), mother of two children, her husband joined the adventure in 2016.
Its soaps are handcrafted by cold saponification under mention Nature & Progrès. The raw materials are sourced as much as possible from local farms.
“A soap is a mixture of oils, water and sodium hydroxide. So I create soaps in which I leave the glycerin. It forms naturally and helps to hydrate the skin. It is 8 to 10% of soaps, when industrial soaps only contain 1 to 2%. Indeed, they withdraw it to resell it in the form of moisturizing cream. »
The Sidonie Champagne product range was built on this advantage. They are surgras between 5 and 7% depending on the formulas, that is to say that part of the oils is not saponified so that the soap hydrates more.
The Maison's logo represents Capucine, their daughter, and is intended to reflect their image, a traditional medallion representing the artisanal manufacturing method.
Since then, the range of products has expanded and Sidonie manufactures liquid soaps, creams, balms, and deodorants.
