Treat couperose
Also called "rosacea", rosacea consists of a permanent and visible dilation of the small vessels of the face, drawing fine red or purple lines on the nose, the cheekbones or even the chin.
It is a very common condition in women with fair and fragile skin, between the ages of 30 and 50.
Rosacea concerns thin and sensitive skin that reacts very quickly to external aggressions (cold, heat, etc.). The capillaries, the finest vessels in the body, constantly adapt to the environment and undergo significant variations in diameter to regulate blood flow according to temperature.
They may eventually burst and become visible under the skin.
- First, rosacea begins with sudden redness of the face and neck with a hot flush sensation. We talk about skin flushes or vasomotor flushes.
- In a second step, a diffuse and permanent redness settles on the nose and cheeks.
- Sometimes red, inflammatory-looking pimples appear: this is the stage of acne rosacea.
Rosacea is favored by emotions, alcohol, coffee, tobacco, pregnancy, digestive disorders, certain medications or cosmetics.
Maintaining a good state of hydration of the skin is essential to reduce the symptoms.
