Belesa (dept 30, at
Ales), which means beauty in Occitan, uses the treasures of the Cévennes to offer women in search of efficiency and well-being, authentic cosmetic products refocused on the essential.
It is the story of Caroline and Amandine, who, sharing the same values, decide to create a brand without compromising on their ethics and their requirements.
Amandine was born and raised in the Cévennes, respecting and loving nature. Formulator of cosmetic products, she dreamed of a brand highlighting the qualities of my terroir.
Caroline, who worked as a makeup artist in Paris, needed a return to nature, to her native region, and to create a business that made sense, for the respect of nature.
They work mainly with chestnuts, the emblematic fruit of the Cévennes. Rich in sugars, it helps the skin maintain optimal hydration while playing a softening role. Source of mineral salts and trace elements, chestnuts are involved in cell metabolism. Finally, the ellagic acid it contains is an antioxidant polyphenol.
