Summary

The eye contour is a very sensitive area, the skin is thin and delicate, which is why the first signs of aging appear in this area.

The effect of time, the stress of daily life, our lifestyle can be read in our eyes and more particularly under the eyes.

We will address the following questions:

  1. How do dark circles and puffiness manifest?
  2. Why do dark circles or puffiness appear under the eyes?
  3. What are the different aspects of dark circles?
  4. How to cure dark circles under the eyes?
  5. How to cure bags under the eyes?
  6. What are some natural remedies to reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes?
  7. How to apply eye care?
  8. Which dermo-cosmetic anti-dark circles and anti-puffiness care routine?

1. How do dark circles and puffiness appear?

A sieve (noun) is a variation in the coloring of the skin under the eye. They form when the skin under the eyes becomes thinner and reveals blood vessels. Dark circles make the eyes look tired and aged and are often linked to a lack of sleep or an unhealthy lifestyle.
Dehydration, fatigue, allergies, heredity, age and pigmentation can also contribute to the formation of dark circles.

Pockets are due to swelling of the lower eyelid as a result of an accumulation of fat or an accumulation of water on this area. Puffiness most often appears early in the morning because at night, the functioning of the lymphatic system responsible for eliminating toxins becomes slower, which will cause swelling around the eye contour upon waking.
Causes can include fatigue, dehydration, water retention, genetics, posture (like sleeping on your back), and aging.

2. Why do dark circles or puffiness appear under the eyes?

  • Skin aging is the most common reason for the appearance of bags under the eyes. Over the years, the skin of the lower eyelid slackens, loses elasticity and suppleness, no longer maintaining the fat present under each eye as well. It will therefore collapse and form a small visible pocket.
  • Heredity Genetics is also a factor to take into account, depending on family predispositions, one can be young and surrounded!
  • tobacco, alcohol : the toxic substances found in cigarettes contribute to the degradation of cells in the dermis and epidermis. They have an impact on the appearance or accentuation of dark circles because they alter lymphatic circulation. Alcohol even tends to cause swelling under the eyes.
  • The stress generates the production of free radicals responsible for premature aging of cells.
  • The dehydration: It is necessary to drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day to help lymphatic drainage. Dehydration accelerates skin aging among other things.
  • The sleep : At night, your skin regenerates, rebuilds itself. Thus, a good night's sleep of at least 7 hours will help you keep a radiant complexion. Lack of sleep is not only responsible for accelerated skin aging but also for a decrease in collagen production.
  • Allergies : Allergic subjects are more at risk of accumulating fluids under the eyes, favored by inflammation due to friction.
  • A poor diet : salt, enemy No. 1, promotes water retention and the appearance of dark circles. Dark circles can also be a reflection of kidney weakness.

3. What are the different aspects of dark circles?

Dark circles that are bluish, or black for the dullest skin types, called vascular dark circles are caused by dysfunction of the blood and lymphatic circulation. With age or for genetic reasons, the microcirculation of the lower eyelid becomes less efficient. The blood capillaries, mainly composed of collagen, thus become more distended and a venous stasis appears until the skin becomes pigmented.

Brown to brown dark circles called pigmentary are due to a poor distribution of melanin, especially in people with dark complexion or, conversely, very pale.

Fortunately, there are natural solutions to reduce dark circles and puffiness effectively!

deposit two spoons in your fridge in the evening and apply the back of the spoon to your dark circles the next morning. You can do the same after placing them in the freezer for a few moments, be careful not to leave them too long because the intense cold could burn the skin. 7. How do I apply eye care?

The eye contour treatment is applied in small quantities (2 or 3 drops maximum) on the eyebrow, from inside to outside by tapping, and on the top of the cheekbones, the bony part called the orbital bone.

Avoid "waterproof" products as they often require removing makeup with a greasy substance.
