In 2010, Shirley Billot, founder, launched a research program to study the virtues of the banana tree and developed novel cosmetic active ingredients, “Musactif”. These active ingredients are real anti-aging shields concentrating the precious molecules of the banana tree. They preserve the youthfulness of the skin and promote the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

In 2012, she launched the KADALYS brand, the first eco-conscious brand with patented Bananier active ingredients: treatments combining technicality, authenticity and refinement.

The bananas used for the manufacture of cosmetic products come from the Banana industry in Guadeloupe and Martinique, which cannot market them to the general public because they are damaged, imperfect or alone. 

Each year, 40,000 tonnes of bananas transported by boat to Europe that will never be sold.
